POST-PRODUCTION: MAIN PROJECT

Our editing process went well. We oredred our footage according to our shooting script and storyboard, and made sure we could make it as tight as possible. We took out some shots as they were too long, or not needed. As we wanted to create a cross-cutting narrative, we made this possible through our editing. We were able to cut between 'Matt Don' and 'Sam G's' journey to 'Big Jon's' location, as well as being able to introduce 'Big Jon' to the audience. Adobe Premiere Pro was simple to use, once comfortable with using it. We did the majority of our editing on Premiere Pro, and all felt it was an easy to use software. We had to re-order some of our shots, to make sure that our narrative made more sense to the audience. This made our film more effective and shortened down the length of our film. Originally our film was too long, about 3 minutes 25 seconds. This was far too long, thus by cutting out shots, such as the subway scene, and by re-ordering our clips, we were able to shorten the film, and keep our narrative structure.
